If this isn't a day drinking song, I couldn't even begin to fathom what is. Two songs, one a classic, one an instant classic, meshed so perfectly into a tune that makes me just want to tip a cold one back on a beach somewhere. Mashup Germany - Top of the Pops 2013 (Hey Brother) (Music Video)

Two things:

1.) This is by no means new, but it is by all means awesome.
2.) Does anyone else want him to make a new track that just entails the first 50 ish seconds? I mean come on. That. Shit. Is. Fire.

Anyway, this is an artist that I just recently discovered. Extremely talented, but it's very hard to get my hands on his tracks since he is actually from Germany's underground scene, and all of his files are hosted on German websites with odd torrent providers. Regardless. I love this. Apparently there are 90+ songs mashed into here, even though there's "only" about 20 that are anything more than a brief sound clip. This is, I'm afraid to say it, definitely the "Top of the Pops." Track and DL link below, dig it.

Might I just say... WOW. Oh. And also, sorry for the wait. Packing my life up and moving 500 miles back to the good old North took some time. Exams. Etc. Screw you guys, my life is hard. Anyway, WOW.

I'm sure most, if not all of you are familiar with the original track to "Wasted." It's great, and is probably one of my favorite tracks released in the last 6 months. Steve Mac - Paddy's Revenge (Club Mix) (Music Video)

Yeah, apparently there is Irish themed house music. This one will never make the top ten charts in any category, but I'll be damned if it isn't number one for this specific weekend. Bro's do you like house music? If you're here, the answer is almost certainly yes. Do you like drinking? If you don't, you're un-American, and definitely not Irish. Do you like attractive women dancing around in skimpy clothing? I would really hope so, if not for the women, at least for the choreography. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Irish Celebration (Music Video)

It's the Prevolutionary, and I'm here to kick off this St. Patty's Day weekend the way it should be kicked. I'll be the first to say that I am NOT a fan of Macklemore, however this song is good, and he is solidly Caucasian enough to execute the idea behind this song with solid results. The song itself, damn, brings out the ol' fightin' Irish blood in me! It really speaks to my heritage, and it speaks even more loudly to my genetically enhanced drinking ability. THROWBACK THURSDAY: R. Kelly - Ignition (Remix) (Music Video)

Throwback Thursday y'all. I'm getting all my posts out of the way early today. Everyone knows this, and as far as I'm aware, everyone loves it too. So I'll throw it back for you. This is truly a classic in every sense of the word. Back when rappers wore oversized clothing instead of kilts (sorry Ye and A$AP), back when Cristal was the drug of choice instead of molly, back before R. Kelly was accused of... shenanigans. Damn, today I'm feeling nostalgic, especially with that last post. This is one of Weezy F's best tracks in my opinion. If you argue, well, you're wrong. But you're entitled to your delusions I guess. Baauer, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Just Blaze, & Skrillex - Goin High' (DJ Comed Bootleg) (Music Video)

Far be it from me, a lowly mortal, to describe something as "epic"... but I'm going to anyway. There simply isn't another word for what you're about to see, or if you're doing life the right way, what you just watched. If this video doesn't make you wanna just straight up rage your face off, you just aren't college material. I would like to apologize for the length of this review, but I'm not gonna because this needs to be said, and real men don't ever truly apologize for things they don't regret.

First of all, I wanna shake the hand of whoever produced this music video. I'm not normally a fan of 6 minute songs, let alone 6 minute videos. I like my joints to be quick, so I can move on to the next one and keep the energy flowing. With this video, I can guarantee that you will not be bored for one single second. The producer spliced together clips from Kanye's "Cold" music video, the movie Project X, and short segments from what I assume is a DJ Comed concert. Baby Yeezus with a dimepiece is a sight to behold, Project X is the pinnacle of partying on our level of society, and I'll be honest, before today I didn't even know DJ Comed was associated with this track, but the clips of his concert look absolutely INSANE. The video is by far the highlight of my month in posting for this site.

Now to the actual song.

Secondly, I wanna shake the hand of DJ Comed. Because this track is straight fire. Napalm. Whatever. It's unreal. He took several top ten songs and seamlessly stitched them together into this musical mastery of trap music. He integrated "Higher" by Just Blaze & Baauer, "Cold" by Kanye West and DJ Khaled, and "Goin' In (Skrillex Goin' Down Mix)" by Birdy Nam Nam. Higher is one of the best EDM tracks of the year, Cold is one of Kanye's top ten tracks to date in my opinion, and this mix of Goin' In is my personal favorite. Like can it get better than this? Doubtful.

One Chance ft. T-Pain - All The Way Turnt Up (Remix) (Music Video)

YESSIR. Can't believe copyright didn't lock this one down, but then again, this was never released as an official track. So some of you may not know this remix. Best one by far. The instrumentals were totally redone, the music video was filmed live at a club celebration, and best of all, Soulja Boy isn't on the track. Sounds too good to be true, but I assure you, this is the real deal. I used to bump this before every basketball game I ever played senior year. Love it. Track and DL link below.

Yo Gotti ft. Gucci Mane, Trina, & Nicki Minaj - 5 Star (Remix) (Music Video)

These throwback joints are fuckin' TRICKY to track down. Copyright has all the tracks on lockdown, but I'm doing the best I can. Anyway, this song is dope. Yo Gotti isn't the best rapper, but damn did he release a banger with this one. I thought it passed by rather quickly during senior year of high school, but I peeped it out before it hit the radio, so I have a certain liking for it. Tech N9ne - He's A Mental Giant (Prod. by Seven) (Music Video)

I said you wouldn't see much of Tech on this blog, because honestly, y'all can't handle him for real. He's not mainstream, he's not well known or well liked, shit, he isn't even mentally sound. But he is mentally gigantic and lyrically unmatched. Close second behind Kanye. This one is one of his best. Aggressive tones, interesting video, and the beat is special. The "He's a mental giant" sample in the chorus was taken from a cartoon called Boy Meets Dog produced and released in 1938... Se7en outdid himself on this beat. I looked hard for this one, but I could only find a mixtape version instead of the true CDQ one. If you want to get the pristine version, I suggest iTunes or a youtube audio rip site. Kutt Calhoun - Bunk Rock Bitch (Music Video)

This one will have you feelin' some type of way, that's for damn sure. I'm on my hip-hop grind today, and this is a classic. Guarantee 99% of people who read this have no idea who Kutt is and have never heard this song, or any other by him. But the man has some serious talent. He's underrated for sure. This is my number 1 song. Has been since the first time I heard it in 7th grade shooting hoops in my driveway in the dark. I guess I just like the idea of it.
