Zac Brown Band - All Alright

So this isn't the feel good, summer island track that I thought it was going to be when I first listened to it. Zac Brown is well known for his laid back jams like "Knee Deep" and "Toes" which are instant adds to the summer playlist. This song is different from those, this track really showcases his vocals and the guitar solo in the middle is impressive. Give it a couple listens before you pass judgement, this one's a grower.

Brad Paisley - River Bank

Brad Paisley's latest single shows that even though Wheelhouse sucked dick, he can still churn out the shit that put him where he is today in country music. I'm a fan, I like this Brad Paisley.

John King - Tonight Tonight

So this dude actually looks like a huge pansy, but I like the song so I'm posting it anyway. This is the first radio hit that John King has produced, although he has spent some time in the underground country scene. This will without a doubt be a summer jam for many, especially if it picks up airplay like I predict it will. Turn down the windows, turn up the country, Spring is here.

Luke Bryan - The Sand I Brought To The Beach

Yesterday, recent country music super star Luke Bryan dropped his sixth installment of his now famous Spring Break series. Every year around this time of year Luke drops a 5-8 track EP containing his latest beach jams about spring break. Last year it contained tracks like "Wild Weekend" and "Just a Sip" and when I saw him live in PCB for two days, that was the best concert I have ever been two. Hundreds of thousands of college students all on the beach shitfaced and ready to party with Luke Bryan. Think of that when you hear the songs on his EP. Check out one of the standout tracks below:

Thomas Rhett - 'Merica

)

So it's spring break time for most of the college kids out there, that means beers on the beach and country music by day, tequila and house music by night. The Prev and I have got you covered on both ends of that spectrum. Thomas Rhett (son of more famous country singer Rhett Atkins) played this song live a few weeks back in concert. I've seen this guy two times in concert and he has never disappointed, if you have the opportunity to see him, do it. This song is one of his many that has yet to be fully released. Check it out above, download it below.

Florida Georgia Line (Feat. Luke Bryan) - This Is How We Roll

For their first single of 2014, Florida Georgia Line teams up with probably the hottest name in country music in Luke Bryan. This is a combo that was bound to happen, both of them have that bulldawg blood and love singing about the good times. Check out the new track and download it below:

Your Country Music Essentials from Guru

Notice the title of the post isn't "new country" nor is it "every single country music song that anyone in the world would think is somewhat relevant". These are your country essentials, if you don't have these, you don't have country on your iPod and you don't love America. Being American and not listening to country music is essentially shitting on the flag and considered terrorism. Do you want to be a terrorist? No? Then check out and download the songs after the jump...(Some of the files aren't in the right format to have a Zippy preview but if you click on the "click here" link it will take you right to the page)

Thomas Rhett - Sorry For Partying

God damnit, the number of times I've felt this way. I love partying so much and at the same time I hate the fact that no matter how much I drink, I'm always gonna be judged. Fuck it, cheers to the good life.

Pretty Lights - Country Roads (Remix)

Longtime favorite of mine. Pretty Lights is known for having some pretty incredible sounds. Again, still riding the chill train. This one remixes the classic John Denver song, and while I can't necessarily compare the two, I must say Pretty Lights blew this out of the water. If you love any type of EDM, or honestly if you love music in general, this is for you. Track and DL link below like normal.
