Denzal Park - Amarok

It's been a few days since I've posted guys, sorry about it. I had a close friend take the time to visit me down here in the good ole South from back home where Yankees are from. It was a good time, and I didn't have time for you. Sorry not sorry.

Anyway, here we are with a track I'm sure most of you have heard somewhere, whether in a mix or just during a random set. It's one of the most widely sampled tracks in house sets, and has been for a while now, but it was only recently that I took the time to go find the original track. I must say, I'm glad I took the time. This one is absolutely an anthem, and it's quite obvious why "Amarok" is one of the standards in house music mixes today. The synths are, for lack of a more accurate description, simply legendary, and this reminds me of something the old Porter Robinson would have came up with. Check out the track and download it below.

Strange Talk - Morning Sun (Dillon Francis Remix)

And now, for something completely different. This one is the one you will hear in every DJ's set, mixed in some way or another. This is your club banger, your anthem, your top track. And be honest, how can it not be? Dillon Francis turned Morning Sun into pure eargasms. The synths here are just incredible. This one reminds me of how progressive house was a few years back, when Avicii was just blowing up, when Porter Robinson released Language. This is the house music I love. I have this on repeat as I'm typing these words. This is house. Track and DL link below.

Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix & Like Mike - Tremor

Big house, bit hit. Vegas, Garrix & Like Mike team up for what is destined to be the big house anthem at the festivals this summer. After you listen to it, can you take a guess as to who came up with that drop? *cough cough* Animals *cough cough* Garrix runs the drop game.

Dimitri Vegas & Moguai & Like Mike - Mammoth (Heroes & Villains vs. Carnage Festival Trap Mix)

Dimitri Vegas & Moguai & Like Mike - Mammoth (Heroes & Villains Vs. Carnage Festival Trap Remix)

Here's a remix to one of Guru's and my own favorites. Mammoth is one of those songs that just signifies a kick ass time. And for someone to finally make a solid remix to it really just makes me happy. I've heard probably 20 to 30 remixes of this song and this is the first good one I found. Is it as solid as the original? No, most indeededly not so, in the words of Phillip J. Fry. But it's very good and I figured I would share it here with you. I'm not sure if its out yet, so cop it here before it gets taken down. Track and DL link below. Enjoy guys.

Clint Mansel & The Kronos Quartet - Lux Aeterna

Happy Monday, ya filthy animals. I'm sleep deprived as hell, I can't really focus on things beyond about 7 or 8 feet from my face, and I have an ungodly amount of exams today, but hey... college. This is for all those people who need a bit of inspiration. You could eat a banana (or better yet, one of your hot friends could eat a banana) to this song, and if you had a high res, slo mo camera, I can guaran-damn-tee you that no one ever ate a banana in a more epic fashion. For God's sake, Alabama's football team uses this as their hype song. If you need more evidence of some serious inspiration... well, you probably go to Auburn... or even worse, -ichigan. Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Juicy J, 2 Chainz & Tujamo - Boneless Zip (G-Squared Flip)

Boneless Zip (G-Squared Flip)

Here we have one hell of a mashup. I have a bit of talent, or most likely luck, in stumbling across obscure EDM bangers on the net. I feel like everyone else does too, but I'm running this thing, so I'll just take what I can get. Anyway, this one is dope. A perfect spring break 2K14 banger. Blast this on a beach while you drink yourself into unconsciousness. Track and DL link below.

Start Trouble - Let's Get Fucked Up

Well. This is where I am about right now. You can't beat it. I can't beat it. WE CAN'T. BEAT. IT. So ger fucked up. This is the one. The true anthem. Out of every song I've designated as an anthem on this song, this is the one that you truly play to get drunk as hell. Do it. I don't care that it's a Sunday afternoon. Y'all drink like you're pirates and it's your last day on this planet. That's college gentlemen. College. Track and DL link below.

N.E.R.D. - Everyone Nose (Remix)(Ft. Kanye West, Pharrell, Lupe Fiasco, & Pusha T)

You people have no concept of the shenanigans this track is capable of unleashing. Guru and I know full well: when this one comes on at the pregame, usually all that you'll be able to remember is the pregame. It's gonna be one of those nights people. Prepare for it properly. This... this is the anthem. Track and DL link below.

DJ COMED - 2N8 (COMED Bootleg)

2N8 - OneRepublic, Ellie Goulding, Dimitri Vegas, MOGUAI & Like Mike (COMED Bootleg) *PREVIEW*

Guru and I are huge fans of the song Mammoth by Dmitri Vegas, Moguai, and Like Mike. Huge fans. The song has preceded some of our most outlandish nights out boozing on the town. I believe it set the tone for Guru's exploits in the Holy Land of Panama City Beach, Florida over spring break last year, although you'll have to look elsewhere for confirmation, as I wasn't there and Guru certainly doesn't remember. That's the kind of song this is. A rage anthem. COMED mashes Mammoth with If I Lose Myself Tonight by OneRepublic and small clips of Ellie Goulding's vocals from I Need Your Love, and I must say, the result is nothing short of spectacular. This song is epic in every sense of the word. Check it out and download it below! Happy blackout!

Tech N9ne - Caribou Lou

If you've never heard this, you must live under a rock in a place far, far from the closest college. If you can find a song more universally revered for drinking... what am I even saying, you simply can't. LMFAO and their song shots... weak. That shit's for college freshmen females. I Love College by Asher Roth? That's for high schoolers. But this here? This little gem is for everyone. This song is the definition of rage. Enjoy.

Dante the Don - Barstool Blackout Anthem

This is the heart and soul of blacking out. Period. Track and DL link below.

Tommy Trash - Fuckwind (Original Mix)

With a name like "Fuckwind", this song was either gonna own or blow. Since it's on here, lets assume that it owns. Which it does. I don't usually designate songs as anthems, but here I am breaking the trend. This one is a straight up house anthem. Reminds me of Clash by Alesso or Make Some Noise by Chuckie and Junxterjack.... both of which I recommend checking out as well. As it is, this one is gonna be popular for some time. Track and DL link below.

CyHi the Prynce - Sunday Morning

Royal Flush 2 is a masterpiece by relatively unknown rapper CyHi the Prynce, signee to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label. Personally, I'm not sure why he doesn't get more publicity, his lyrics are absolutely fantastic. I put him over Big Sean easily. Anyways, Sunday Morning is one of the tracks on the mixtape that stands out... for obvious reasons once you start listening. Sure to put a smile on your face while simultaneously melting it off with CyHi's lyrical intricacies. Track and DL link below.

Dada Life, Hardwell ft Taio Cruz - Avicii's Epic Hangover (Kap Slap Bootleg)

Damn... if anyone knows how to do a mash up right, it's Kap Slap. I can't emphasize that enough. This song somehow escaped my notice until late this summer, when a buddy had his iPod on shuffle during a chill night at the University of Dayton. Shit caught my attention immediately... this is one guaranteed to send some adrenaline through your veins. Song and DL link below.
