The Melker Project - Get Out The Way & 1 Year Anniversary of Prevolutionary

HELL YEAH FUCKIN RIGHT! What started out as a pet project is still a pet project, but it's a year later! Today is the one year anniversary of Prevolutionary. I'm pleased that I still put some semblance of effort into this site, even if the Guru doesn't spend much time here. Oh well, we can address that later.

Here we have another one of Scott Melker's fantastic mashups. Crazily enough, he incorporates classic rap, some metal, and some house tunes into this one, and it sounds simply FLAWLESS. This one is good for any workout mix. Check it out and DL below.

Drake - 0 To 100 (Grandtheft Bootleg)

Since I missed the daily post yesterday, I'll do two today, maybe a third if you're all good and stay quiet.... okay so I'll probably do a third anyway, but this isn't about that. This is about Grandtheft's Bootleg remix to Drake's recent hit, 0 To 100. If I had control of a radio station, plays for this remix would go from 0 to 100... real quick. See, normally I'm not a fan of DJs remixing Drake's stuff. Drake is insanely talented, and as far as I'm concerned, his stuff is too high quality to be remixed. However, there are always exceptions, and this is definitely one. Grandtheft hardly changed the song, just threw in a few extra synths, enhanced the noticeable parts of the beat, and changed a few tones. Why fix it if it ain't broke, am I right? Dotcom - Drunk Girls feat. Yultron (Original Mix)

Well I'm back. Gonna try to bring you guys music every other day or so.

This one is good. Dotcom, as a rule, is hit or miss, but when he hits, he HITS. This isn't a club banger. This isn't a mega hit. Shit, this isn't even top 40 material. But you know what it is? That one song you can play at every pregame, at every party, and blast whenever you're chillin... because we all know that drunk girls know how to have fun. Smooth bass, smooth lyrics by Yultron. Zeds Dead - Hadouken

Here's a new joint from Zeds Dead. I'm not really sure how to classify this one, it's got a LOT of bass for a house mix, and it's got a lot of synths for a trap mix. Trouse. It's done, you can't unread it. Whatever. This is a good song. Listen to it and download it below.

Martin Garrix - Animals (Instant Party! Retwerk)

Alright, alright, alright. I know exactly what you're all thinking. "Another damn Animals remix? When will these Djs quit rehashing the same shit?" I'll tell you when. When they get it right. And Instant Party! finally got it right. I love the original tune but this remix has it beat. By far. I'm more into the trap end of the EDM spectrum, I enjoy a nice house anthem from time to time, but I had to put this up. This song says one thing. RAGE. Track and DL link below.

Tomsize - All That Ass

Solid joint here. Heavy on the bass and heavy on the synth. Not much to complain about. It's not really special, I just enjoy the beat. Give it a listen and download it below.

Dimitri Vegas & Moguai & Like Mike - Mammoth (Heroes & Villains vs. Carnage Festival Trap Mix)

Here's a remix to one of Guru's and my own favorites. Mammoth is one of those songs that just signifies a kick ass time. And for someone to finally make a solid remix to it really just makes me happy. I've heard probably 20 to 30 remixes of this song and this is the first good one I found. Is it as solid as the original? No, most indeededly not so, in the words of Phillip J. Fry. But it's very good and I figured I would share it here with you. Martin Garrix, Ummet Ozcan ft. Beardy Man - Flavored Sneat (Kap Slap Bootleg)

Rarely does one find a DJ who can produce fantastic bootlegs and mashups consistently. I can name maybe three: 3LAU, D.veloped, and Kap Slap.

Rarely does one find a song that makes one laugh every time. I can name maybe three: The Crazy Rap by Afroman, Let's Get Fucked Up by Start Trouble, and Flavored Sneat by Kap Slap.

Rarely does one find a fantstic bootleg that can make you laugh EVERY TIME and yet still be a fantastic track by itself. Here you see that. I can't listen to the track without cracking a smile, wanting to set something on fire, and having that "two beer itch to black out" all at the same time. This one takes the cake for... something. Definitely worth a listen and definitely worth a download. You can do both below. Enjoy guys.

Lana Del Ray - Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix) (ETC!ETC! Trapped It Remix!)

Here's the final (possibly) Spring Break banger I'll be gracing your ears with today. Everyone loves the Cedric Gervais house remix to Lana Del Ray's Summertime Sadness. Everyone. It's overplayed. So, just like in the "Wizard" post, I found a remix worth bringing to you. Although, in this instance, I actually prefer the ETC!ETC! remixed version to the original Cedric Gervais take on the song. It's a little more chopped, a little more bass is thrown in, but believe me, the end result is phenomenal. I'm feelin' e-lectric tonight, and you will too after listening to this. RAGE! Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway vs. Lady Gaga - Applause For Wizards (Hyphee Crunk Sauce Bootleg)

As my good friend the Guru said a few days ago, this spring break is composed of two periods of party, in addition to the phantom 3 hours a day you may frat nap. During the day, you day drink on the beach, play pong on tables made of sand, drink brews with your ass in the sand facing the ocean, and listen to good old country music ballads. AMERICA! Guru is getting me into country, and I must say, I'm enjoying the experience somewhat. However, where I reign supreme is the hip-hop and EDM genres which dominate the night life in clubs at popular spring break destinations. So I'll leave him to most if not all of the country jams, and give the troopers what they want for their clubbing and late night experiences.

Everyone and their technologically savvy brother has thrown a remix of "Wizards" onto SoundCloud at some point. We get the point. The song is damn good, and you feel the need to improve it. Cool. However, for the benefit of my audience, I've taken the liberty of sifting through the endless remixes and actually found one that equals the original. It's a good time. Take it from me. Ah, my people. Bros, babes; fratstars and sratstars; GDIs and just straight Is. It's that magical time of the year where we can all come together for one purpose: getting obliterated on a beach while searching for that semi-special other (or others if you're a champ) in order to bang out a quick one. And we all know the most legendary of us leave those majestic encounters with something extra. Trophies. In honor of spring break, and in hopes that we all claim a little something extra hopefully not of the biological disease category, I present to you, this most epic remix of Drake's "Trophies." Here we have one hell of a mashup. I have a bit of talent, or most likely luck, in stumbling across obscure EDM bangers on the net. Okay, I must get this off my chest: not a huge Katy Perry fan, except for hers... ba dum tssssss. Yeah, it was weak, but it's 5 am, I'm tired, and I think all of us bros here would hit it without a second thought. Yep. Argue with me. Lose. Anyway. I'm a fan of the original, but seeing how I'm the Prevolutionary, I'm not here to post shit you can hear 5 times every two hours on your local Top 40 station. Is it good? Hell yes. Is it necessary to post? Hell no. So here we are. I actually played this at the last party I attended. It went over pretty well. So for all you impromptu DJs out there, this one is for you. Well, well, well. Happy 150th post Prevolutionary followers. Here we have a gem: a remix hot off the Oxymoron wagon. 20syl is a relatively, and by relatively I mean extremely, unknown artist, practically non-existent. Mike WiLL Made It ft. Miley Cyrus, Juicy J & Wiz Khalifa - 23 (Max Methods Remix)

Okay I know I said the last post was going to be the last post, but then I watched a dope day drinking video with this as the music to it and I had to do one more. The only reason Miley's ass is on this site right now is because I love trap music, I love good remixes to good beats, and Mike WiLL Made It is a freaking genius. That's it. Low Pros (A-Trak & Lex Luger) - 100 Bottles ft. Travi$ Scott

A-Trak and Lex Luger teamed up to become the duo Low Pros. They're two very talented producers in today's musical era; Luger is known for producing hip-hop tracks for artists such as Waka Flocka Flame and Ace Hood, and A-Trak is a well known EDM DJ. Personally, they're two of my favorites, and I was a little disappointed when they dropped their first track "Jack Tripper" a few weeks back. Not to say that it wasn't a good instrumental, but I knew they should be doing better. I was right.

"100 Bottles" is situated more in the hip-hop end of the musical spectrum rather than the EDM end as was "Jack Tripper." It made all the difference. Travi$ Scott isn't even here to spit a verse, more to just add limited auto-tuned sound bites. But hey, it works. I give this a solid A. It's laid back, the bass bumps hard, and the melody just seems to flow. Dig it. Track and DL link below.

This one is as much an upbeat running or lifting track as I've ever heard. House type synths blended with that booming trapstep bass make this one quite a mixture.
