A$AP Rocky ft. Juicy J - Multiply

Continuing with the chill shit, this: Lord Flacko has always been one of my favorites, and Guru can agree. This beat has a... mobbin' feel to it, I don't know how to explain it better than that. And A$AP Rocky's smooth flows and solid lyrics give it an edge. Again, definitely not a club banger, but this is one of those tracks to sit in your iPod and rack up thousands of plays over time. Started from the bottom, we still here! Nevertheless, I'll still bring my faithful readers music, as long as one person requests it.

It's our 200th post though, and in celebration of sticking to it, among other things, I'm posting this song. For those of you who don't know, Juicy J actually offered the girls of America the opportunity to win a $50,000 scholarship (aka a check for fifty grand) based on their twerking skills. Yep. Leave it to the King of Ratchet Pussy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure a 30 something year old mother of three won the money.

All that shit aside, this is actually a pretty good song. Not usually the biggest fan of Juicy J, always a huge fan of Lord Flacko himself, and absolutely the biggest fan of that one song which can take the party to a 10. This is that song. From personal experience, this is that song. Allegedly, a house party at one Miami University of Ohio had a mosh pit burst into existence when a DJ in a suspicious green Masters jacket cranked "Scholarship" at 5:30 AM on Green Beer Day. Schoolboy Q - Californication (feat. A$AP Rocky)

Work, PMW, Hands on the Wheel, and Brand New Guy. What do these four bangers have in common? An A$AP-Schoolboy collabo. Make that five. When I first saw this song I thought that the artwork was for this song as a single, not the entire album because it just fit this song so well. This is that shit I'd ride up to about to rob a store. A$AP Rocky ft. Gesaffelstein - In Distress

Here's a track with a unique sound. The Internet seems to consider this an electro-house hit
(whatever that even means), but to me it sounds more like a lighter trap beat. Whatever it really is, I can tell you this: it's straight fire. This is one of those songs that make you feel like a bad ass when you listen to it. You know the type, you're walking around with headphones in like "Oh shit son, I wish you would." Even if you're looking at some old lady and her walker crossing the street. Yeah. Well. Maybe you don't feel that way. But I do. It's a good hit, I'm always a fan of Lord Flacko's vocals over unique beats. This could been on Long Live A$AP and you wouldn't have known it wasn't a part of the original tracklist. A$AP Rocky feat. Trey Songz - Same Bitch

Now, I believe Guru showcased this one on his old site, but even if that is the case, I'm still going to do it here. I've long respected Guru as, well, the only guru/expert/influence for music that I would probably ever have. The man's taste in music is unparalleled, except maybe by my own on a good day. Anyway, I digress. A$AP has been one of my favorites for a while, and this track highlights exactly why. A$AP sure knows how to build a track. He kills his part and links up with Trey Songz for a smooth hook, all on top of a classic A$AP style beat. Stop reading my words and listen to theirs. Track and DL below.

A$AP Rocky - Angels (Music Video)

I realize that it's been only a few hours since I've posted an A$AP track, but I couldn't sleep and I saw that he released this music video for Angels. The song is one of my absolute favorite from Long Live A$AP, which is saying something because I enjoyed the hell out of that whole album. The video is pretty sick, A$AP really knows how to make an image for himself and the A$AP gang, whether that image is the truth or not. Either way, I think this video is badass. A$AP Rocky - Fashion Killa (Blackbird Blackbird Remix)

I started today off with a throwback, here's a relatively new track for you listening pleasure. Blackbird Blackbird took Fashion Killa, a pretty popular track off A$AP Rocky's recent album, and transformed it into almost a trancelike product.
